Yum... I could almost smell it cookin' from here! Looks delicious. Your photo's are so great.
Now that's some good ole' home cookin'. I didn't know you were vegetarian. Little guy looks great in sunglasses any way he wants to wear them.
What a fun post. You're a strong woman to be a vegetarian and stand over stewing moosemeat chili. I know how strong the aroma can be. I am not a vegetarian, and let me just say, your chili looks soooo good. I love the line about how yummy the chili was. Your little guy is way too cute.
Looks soooo good! And "sunglasses kid" is such a cutie". Thanks for the smile!
I bet it smells delicious in the house! And I've never seen that particular drink, but I'm sure it's a hit. It would be in my house, we love ANYTHING that is the taste of ANY berries!!!

Looks delicious!! I was at an event last year and a guy brought "Moose Balls"...Moose meatballs....I had a hard time looking at them! I eat meat but I draw the line with certain things like moose and deer and so on....BUT the men in my family love it ALL! Looking at your recipe made me think twice about that today....it looks wonderful. And aren't you the avid canner! Good for you....Love the Blackberry brandy to coax you along....ha ha..I don't drink but it sounds like a great idea! And the little one is soooo adorable!!
It all looks very good until the moose. I just don't like game meat. You are good to do that for your man.
We have a lot of moose meat in our freezer. I would love to have the recipe. My husband would love this.
I must admit when I read the name of the chili "moose meat" I didn't think it really had moose in it, but surprise, it does! Although I truly appreciate what you did for your man. I don't eat game meat. But It does look yummy.Thank you for linking to the Thursday Favorite Things Blog Hop Linky Party at Katherines Corner. Hugs and smooches and wishes for a wonderful weekend!
All these years in Maine...and I have yet to try moose meat! That's a labor of love to make it when you don't eat it yourself! Must be tempting, the chili looks wonderful!
First of all that moose stew looks great- except for the beans I saw sticking out of there..I`m not a bean person. I can muster enough courage to eat green beans and maybe some yellow wax beans...MAYBE peas...but NO other beans...ugh...shiver at the thought....
Second- I have a cast iron fry pan also- inherited from my grandma- I ADORE it! I´ve bought a few more at auctions over the years but nothing like my grandma´s (which looks like yours) looooove it!
Third- that baby is such a sweetie pie- flipped glasses and all!! :-)))
Have a great evening!! Amy @ Eventyrhus
That looks so yummy!!! :D
That looks like some seriously hearty soup! The sweet wine looks good, too! Enjoy your week...stay warm! ♥
