I feel like sticking my head in a mud puddle too Puddles......
After much thought and discussion we have decided to relocate our beautiful ducks to a wonderful farm and family 2 hours downeast ..... I have been following Barbara's blog- the crowing hen- for several yrs and although we've never met I feel as though I know her- her animals and family! They need to be able to be in the water in the winter and I'm just not here enough to give them that- my husband feeds and cleans them when I'm away- but that's really asking too much. And my daughter next door who got them with me has started back to school and her little guy is in preschool- life does get in the way sometimes.... We will miss their antics and quacking... They really do have such personalities !!

BIG GIANT HUGS to you Friend!
Goodbye to the quacks!
I will miss seeing them. But you made a good decision. I don't like having ducks in winter.
p.s. I have a goose named Puddles : )
It can be hard to let go, but sounds like they have lived well with you & are going to another good home.
Oh I love ducks and had to do the same thing once too! But not here in Maine...when I was in Ohio. I understand...sad but it is for the best. xo
