My beautiful cactus almost ready to bloom forth.....
My Florida garden........ Very different then my Maine one........
My goodness! Your post makes me think so much of our gardening back home in NH. We had beautiful perennials and a hillside that was covered in beautiful flowers. It has been a real struggle down here in southeast NC to have the beautiful flowers. We're learning slowly I must say and haven't given in completely yet. I do miss the beautiful fertile NH soil though. Your cactus is beautiful. We do have a prickly pear cactus in our front yard and it blooms every summer in a bright crisp yellow.

Cactus blooming in Oct. sounds completely foreign. Still - very beautiful. I simply must visit Florida.
How wonderful -- most of our flowers are dying down now.
And in answer to your linking question, I don't have an ipad so I'm not sure about how to do that.
Ahhhhhhh . . .
