Desperate for bedtime Kindle or Nook............

Well~ this is the third night I'm going to bed with nothing new to read-I'm desperate for a Kindle or Nook!   My maintenance man said several weeks ago-go ahead get one-but- not being a frivolous sort I didn't really want to spend the $$.........and I love books---real books---the feel of them---smell of them--the library is full of them (love libraries)--- bookstores I could get lost in for days-especially repurposed ones!   But this delightful little creature living with us for the last few weeks and couple more has certainly slowed down my adventures out into the world!   It's hard to believe he only weights 15 lbs-of course his cute little car chariot and his backpack with every essential known to the properly outfitted young prince weigh in at another 95 lbs.  But I digress~~tomorrow I am buying a Nook!!   Our  research has shown the choice of books -prices of buying books-and downloading them from libraries to your Nook is better then other brands available.   We shall see-because I have to read!!   Love reading the various blogs but when I go to bed, before the light goes out, its the book I need!  Night Night--lights out--and eyes wide open.....

Your blog is beautiful! I especially like the picture of the tiny chick and the teacup.

Maine is such a beautiful state. I have vacationed there a couple times and love it.

I too love to read. I can't imagine a world without books. I thought that I would never be able to give up the hand held book. I was wrong. I have the old Kindle and I love this device. It is cheaper than hardcover and I can download in a flash. Well, when I am in town. We live way out and no signal. I would like to have the new one that downloads anywhere but I paid too much for this one. It is fine. I can carry it everywhere and I always have a book. I have it sitting by me right now with a new book. Yum! Enjoy.

So cool how you used the mussel shell to frame up that shot! I should read more, or at least have someone read to me, now that would be even better! ~Lili
