Walking the goats up the mountain........ever notice I seem to be on the "tail"end of things.......

Taking a Picnic break......was as far as I could go.....
Little guy is expressing my feelings accurately.......minus the yogurt face...!
Depending on who you asked....we walked one mile or 5 miles......the jury is still out......
Luckily we never even got to the mountain........goats love mountain climbing......this grandmother likes the "amber waves of grain"--Also known as flatland!!
But it was a fun and beautiful March Maine afternoon!!

Think SPRING!!
Peace, Rain  :)

Waking dogs, cats, horses, goats . . .it all works, even at the "tail end."

That is so cool that you took the goats with you on that trail! I would have loved to run into you then. We have the Sunrise trail by us...hint hint. ha! ~Lili

How do you train your goats to walk on a lead?? Mine go insane whenever I try it and I wind up giving up because I'm afraid they'll either kill themselves from their gyrations, or get loose.

A fun set of photos -- your goats are well-trained I would say... looks like everyone enjoyed the trek. :)

Guess I need to make a clarification!! They are my nieces goats and she's spent a lot of time working and training them!! Mine could walk on leaches too-but were not always well-behaved!-they loved going up to the neighbor house for cheerio treats! The one on the picnic table is Skunk-as a baby the while band was all around him and he was black!~he was off leach the whole time and stayed right beside Sarah-very well trained! She's hoping to train one or two to be service animals! and I'm sure she will succeed-she's the original "goat whisperer"!! (she also has animal crackers in her pockets-and they'll do ANYTHING for an animal cracker!)~~Rain

Going for a walk with your cute little goats... so adorable! ‘May your blessings outnumber the shamrocks that grow…’ Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!

We have been dog walkers for years, but I never thought about a goat outing! Don't they run away...and if they do, how do you round them up?

As always, your photos are delightful, Rain!

Must be nice to have them trained so well to leashes. The appear to be walking better than most dogs. Little guy is always so expressive :)
