Stopped by my brothers to say hi.....surprise

So I went to the barn by myself to say goodbye to Tulip-very prego nigerian dwarf-due in about 2 weeks-

came out of the barn  yelling calmly stating  ~-"Tulips in serious labor"!!!!

1st delivery for Tulip and everyone on this farm~-I have helped with my Shetlands-but they mostly obliged me by having them by themselves at night and greeted me in the morning with cleaned- warmed-fed babies  ! Not goats evidently-she was expecting only ONE...................and she was adorable little tiny doe....
but then came a feisty little lad

followed by another even bigger young man.....oh poor Tulip and us-we really were not expecting this..

so far this is the only picture of the three of them together-she's a good little first time mom-if not quite overwhelmed!

the two little rascals were full of the dickens right off....

Destiny is having a very hard time-our prayers are hoping she'll make it through the night.  In the first few hours of life she was tube fed-and bottle fed-heating pads and taken into the house-she's a trooper and her family will work all night if need be to nourish her and keep her warm.

A 4-H-er from next town came and helped bottle feed her-and her mom helped put the tube down her nose the first time.  She's a great young lady-named Destiny--so the little doe had to be named after her!

this is the biggest-and was trying to get all the precious first milk-colostrum-from Tulip-we had to make him share!!  Will keep you updated!

And Tulip has a sister--Moonie--due before her??-any day now..................she's bigger-suppose to have twins--so much for ultrasounds......................
